Number of circuits, current, voltage, signal type, data requirements and acceptable electrical noise.
Mounting style, shaft size, available space, RPM, torque, cable exit direction and expected duty cycle.
Temperature, moisture, washdown, dust, vibration, chemical exposure and required protection rating.
